Okay this year is going by way too fast.  I can't even comprehend the fact that September is just two days away! You know what that means right?  FALL VIBES ONLY.  To get ready, my friends at Banana Republic sent over a few items to kick off the most fashionable season - thanks guys!  One of those items included this knit cardigan in the most perfect fall color.  Not only does this cardigan match any other color, it's super transitional for my local weather haha.  Fall only exists in the leaves but trust me when I say we have major Indian Summers out here in Orange County.  This little weather factor is what makes pairing this cardigan up so easy for me!  Whether it's tossing it over a mini dress and flats or casually with shorts, a basic t-shirt and espadrilles, there are simply so many options that won't cause any major heat exhaustion scenarios haha.  I've always thought cardigans were made to be accessories to an outfit worn at night or out in lukewarm temps, so needless to say, I was pretty thrilled to find a knit sweater in my package.  How would you guys pair up a cardigan!? Bridal Shoot | Yosemite National Park

You guys, my sister is getting married in just a little over a month! I feel like it was just yesterday I wrote a bridesmaids post after receiving the exciting news and now here we sit just weeks away from the big day.  The whole planning process has been so fun and all the pictures she and her fiancé have taken have been my personal favorite to look at.  On our family trip just a few weeks ago, I got behind the camera to snap some bridal pictures of her in one of our favorite places full of many childhood memories - Yosemite National Park.  Seriously, what better place for pictures with such an amazing and natural background.  We got a little creative with what we could find and ended up making a mini pine bouquet and head piece that actually fit the photoshoot pretty well!  Here are just a few that we took right in front of Half Dome and the Vernon Falls Lake, enjoy!

I know what guys might be thinking...Melissa where have you been?  Well what happened was, my laptop (I think) has officially called it quits on me.  I've had my Macbook for 6 years now and lately my screen has been acting funny, wah.  Anyway, what that meant was, I couldn't access any of my photos therefore it took me a while to get this outfit up. A miracle happened last night and my laptop actually turned on so I scrambled around my room to find a USB drive and quickly saved all of my new photos on there haha.  Anyway, I'll keep you guys updated on my blogger nightmare, but hopefully my screen is just an easy fix!

I posted a few teaser photos of this outfit on my Instagram a few weeks ago and got a lot of questions about the skirt. It's not a surprise that I'm a huge floral freak so anytime I see a pretty floral clothing item, I run to grab my size.  What I love about this one in particular is the fabric and how not see through it is haha.  I'm usually cautious about wearing white clothing because most items I find are always so see through where it's almost impossible to be comfortable in.  I would definitely say anytime you find a white clothing item that dodges this problem, GET IT.  Those pieces are kind of hard to find for a good price!   Lucky for me, this skirt was gifted but don't worry...it's still available and it's on sale!  Click the link up top to shop the skirt, as well as any other item in my details section.  I'll be in touch with you all soon!
