Hi friends! Last weekend, I did some major shopping and purchased a bundle of four different flowers to play around with for a colleague's wedding I'm doing floral pieces for this fall. I had a lot of leftover roses sitting in a huge jug along with these leaves and figured I'd make a simple floral arrangement for the patio.  The roses I had were still closed, a little flimsy and in need of some major TLC!  Leave it up to a little sun and water to take care of the rest because just a day after I put this arrangement together, a few of the roses actually began to open up and their stems strengthened up so much - nature I tell you :) Anyway, I purchased this rustic wooden pot at Michael's last weekend and I tried to browse for it online but couldn't find it for the life of me!  It was on sale along with all other garden decor so it might be sold out, BUT, I did link a few other super cute rustic pots up top.  I wish you all a wonderful day, happy gardening!

Happy Tuesday everyone, I hope your week is off to a great start!  I’ve had quite the amazing last few days and I can’t believe how lucky I am to have been blessed with new opportunities within all elements of my passions.  I’ll reveal those later but my first reveal is the second installment of my collaboration with Banana Republic.  Yesterday I learned I’d be part of yet another collaboration with them later on this spring and it just feels so surreal to even write these words haha.  I'm seriously so thankful!  Anyway, I posted a preview picture of this outfit on Friday and many of you really liked the skirt!  Trust me, I LOVE it.  Aside from being the most perfect spring color, its little scallop detail makes it an overall win.  Yellow has always been one of my favorite colors to wear for its diversity and love how well it looks with black, white, fuchsia or even grey.  As always, I’ve linked all outfit details above for you guys to shop J I’ll talk to you guys later!

I’ve been holding off on this super exciting news for a little bit now but now I’m sharing J I was so fortunate to be invited to be part of a Banana Republic campaign last month….wait what…ME!?  YES ME!!  A common question I receive is how I started a blog and why.  The answers are simple: I didn’t know I was actually even starting a blog and I just wanted to write about my life in Fashion PR and other lifestyle interests I had lol.  Needless to say, when I was invited to be part of this campaign, I squealed because it’s such a huge milestone for me as a part time blogger!  Anyway, this collaboration will be broken up into a two part series here on my blog, and as always, you can find photos on my Instagram page here (@_melissavictoria).

The first part of this collaboration features this perfect pullover that’s super lightweight and easily transitions into the colder seasons.  If you know me, I love transitional clothing in my closet, so this was really perfect for me.  It was so easy to pair this pullover up with jeans and some of my favorite sandals (as seen in my photos), but if I had to pair it up any other way, I would definitely do white jeans or even Bermuda shorts and flip flops to stay within the unwritten spring and summer outfit rules haha.  This sweater comes in three other colors and you can shop them all if you click here!  Part two of my collaboration is coming soon so don't forget to stop by again in a few days, talk to you all later.
