The Vanity Set

Changing up my room has been a really fun summer project, it's been entertaining and full of valuable lessons. I just recently blogged about organizing my closet and I definitely stayed true to my word about getting rid of unworn clothes. As a result of this closet purge, I currently have about 10 items sitting in my closet-totally joking but I've dramatically cut the clothing down so I have no need for a dresser. While most of my room is complete, I still have one item that I've been on the prowl for-the perfect vanity set. My room is fairly small, so unfortunately, I can't have an oversized princess set. That's okay though because thanks to my best friend Pinterest, I've learned the basics of interior design and room decoration. I'm currently really into all gold everything and my favorite part about this, is I can vibe it year round. Gold is an essential color that's easy to connect to every season so it really never goes out of style. From simple gold accessories to the perfect shoe pump, to my favorite desk accessory (journal) to clothing, you never have to worry about loving it because it's simply a timeless color. 5. If you have a Nordstrom's card, shop the anniversary sale early and get first dibs on all your picks!
6. Save 30% at Forever 21 on all clearance items, make time to browse because depending on your local Forever 21, the clearance section is just full of many wanders.
7. Zara Zara Zara my favorite store ever has their end of season sale going on. Enjoy the entire store at discounted prices, or, you can also shop from home and get free shipping if you choose to pick up your items at your local Zara location.
