Happy almost October everyone! I feel September went by super fast, and I'm definitely not complaining one bit. A lot of fun things happened last month but my favorite by far was the official start of fall! Although fall doesn't really happen here in Southern CA (it's currently 90 degrees), I'm one of those people that likes to pretend. As much as I would love to have a full blown fall closet full of coats, rain boots and scarves, I still consider my body temperature and just give up haha. There are easy ways to make it feel like fall though-an easy way is to transition your closet colors into fall colors! It's definitely time for your deep reds, browns, mustard yellows and hunter greens to come out for a little outfit fun without raising your body temperature to high extremes. A fall favorite of mine is an all black ensemble! Like I mentioned earlier, us Southern Californian's don't always get to experience the cool weather during this time of year, so my black on black outfits always have to stay within the sun's consideration. As shown here, I paired one of my favorite skater skirts up with a simple black half sleeved top, open toed sandals and simple jewelry. Usually wearing all black makes me feel really warm within seconds, but this outfit wasn't too bad considering it's not so covered. I can't wait for this sun to cool down and pick up on all new fall trends, but in the meantime, wearing fall colors will do just fine!
