Looking For The Perfect Fall Sweater? Here are 8.

While it is certainly not sweater weather yet here in Southern CA, now is still a great time to stock up on these closet staples that'll carry us well into the rest of the year. Selecting the perfect sweater can be tough though! If you're like me, you'll likely ask yourself a ton of questions before committing. Will it last? Will the color match with everything else? Do I love the sleeves? If you shook your head up and down while reading through those questions, you'll be thrilled with the following. I made us a list of sweaters to shop for Fall and it's a good list. You're welcome. Let's get to shopping!

1. Turtleneck Tunic Sweater | Old Navy: I mean does a striped sweater ever really go out of style? It's such a staple and love how versatile it can be. From semi-dressing it up with black skinnies and pointy flats or dressing down with boyfriend jeans and Boston Brikenstocks, you just cannot go wrong with a striped sweater. This one is new on Old Navy's website and also comes in a few other colors including tan and red which is definitely in my cart now. 

2. Textural Notch-Neck Sweater | Abercrombie & Fitch: I don't currently have anything like this in my closet, so it might be a first! This is such a cute sweater and absolutely love the cut and styling opportunities. It comes in a few colors that make selecting the right one kind of tough, but I'm really loving the idea of something blue. 

3. The Cocoon Crew in Alpaca | Everlane: It's super easy to love anything from Everlane, not only for their commitment to the environment, but also because their clothing selection always slaps. Literally right now is the best time to purchase this crew sweater because it's on MAJOR sale and the Tiger's Eye tone is actually a great color. 

4. Textured Sweater | Banana Republic Factory: Another great option currently on sale! You cannot go wrong with a textured sweater either and I especially love this one for the way it slims down at the waist. Also worth noting is you can take an extra 20% off at checkout bringing the total down to $26 - absolutely yes. 

5. Oversized French Terry Pullover: I don't actually remember the last time I shopped at Forever 21 but I might have to make a trip soon, especially for this pullover currently 50% off. What's fall without a pullover/legging combo? Love these easy sweaters for a morning walk or to lounge around! 

6. Stipe Cotton Knit Sweater: Here's another striped option that's way more casual than the first for an overall relaxed look. This one is perfect for those moments when you need to get dressed in a pinch but need something a bit more elevated than a sweatshirt. Also love how droopy the sleeves are too! 

7. Mohair-Blend Mock Turtleneck Sweater | HM: Okay this one is a bit of a splurge compared to the rest, but doesn't it feel good when you invest in a bold closet item!? This one is definitely worth the splurge as I've read animal print will be trending this fall. I would totally wear this with pleather leggings and a shiny red lip. It's a classic look you simply cannot fail. 

8. Oversized Boyfriend Sweater | Gap: Can you believe this is our first cream sweater of the list!? It's so obvious to want a neutral toned sweater to check off the 'will it match with everything' question. Look no further, this one is the one you need. It's on sale, oversized, cozy, tone is PERFECT and also comes in other colors if one isn't enough.
