Hello and HAPPY MONDAY!  I can't believe tomorrow is August already - can you slow down, time!?  These days, I'm only thinking about football season and my cold weather wardrobe.  I know, two polar opposites but I have to be ready for both!  With that in mind, I've been stocking up on my fall accessories first and completely scored the jackpot at Charming Charlie.  If you're not aware, this place is a girly girl's heaven and honestly stepping inside of a Charming Charlie store almost makes you feel like you're on auto-pilot - just moving and dropping pieces into your shopping bag.  If you don't have a location near you, don't freak, they have an awesome selection online!  In this post, I wanted to take you guys on a virtual shopping trip with me and show you all the accessories I'm REALLY loving and some I think you guys will love too.  Let's do this!

Bracelets

1. Motto Bracelet - You can never have just one.  These ones are all so darn cute!
2. Beaded - I used to collect (and make) these when I was younger.  Love that they're trending again!
3. Wrap - Every girl needs one! They're so easy to wear and this one is super pretty.
4. Cuff - I used to not love these because I have small wrists, but any that adjust are perfect. Totally loving this one!

Necklaces

1. Layered - I live for a layered necklace! Makes accessorizing SUPER easy. This one is perfect!
2. Choker - A dainty choker like this one is all you need.  I love this one!
3. Drizzy Set - I have a slight obsession with drizzy jewelry and anytime it comes in a set, I'm all ears.  This one is amazing.
4. Statement - This one is a no brainer.  Literally swooning over this one!

Earrings

1. Tassel - Yes please! I'll take these in every single color.
2. Beaded - I love these clip-on earrings so much!  They're so darn cute and fun.
3. Dangle - I think these are timeless.  They never go out of style and always look so pretty on.
4. Studs - These are also timeless pieces and love how dainty and sweet they are!

Accessories

1. Carry On Bag - I'm obsessed with this print as of late.  I don't know anyone who doesn't love a cute weekender bag!
2. Glamper Set - This would even make such a cute gift!  I can totally imagine taking this out on a fall trip with my girlfriends.
3. Clutch - This sparkly clutch is to die for.  Seriously love it SO much!
4. Scarf - I think the print on this scarf is so adorable.  Plus, I'm really into huge neck bows this season!

I could literally go on and on with every single item I'm currently loving!  I hope you guys liked a few of my picks and if you do choose a few others, leave a comment below.  I'd love to see what you all are coveting!  Anyway, happy shopping and I'll talk to you guys soon.

Ever since I was a little girl, I've always had a huge fascination with jewelry.  As I got older, that obsession didn't get any better haha.  Now, I basically can't go a day without some type of jewelry piece on - especially a statement necklace.  I absolutely stand by a statement necklace being my go-to item when my outfit has been in need of a boost, and trust me, I will always advocate for this!  The best part about these necklaces is the opportunity to wear them with basically anything and any way.  Some of my favorite ways include under a collared shirt, stacked, layered and over a plain colored t-shirt or dress.  The beauty of these necklaces is they also add major color to your outfit!  The outfit I'm wearing in this post is a perfect example of this concept.  I know maybe wearing black during the warmer seasons may not be too hot of an idea, but how fast did this bright royal blue and turquoise necklace turn my outfit into spring?!  Necklaces will always be my favorite things to stack up in my closet without feeling any sort of guilt.  They always come in handy and even better, they're super inexpensive depending on where you shop.  Anyway, go ahead and click on the links up top to shop the necklace I'm wearing in this post along with a few others I'm super loving from my friends at Lovita & Co.  Have a great weekend and hopefully it involves some statement piece shopping!

Accessorize with Shoppe Her Way

16 March 2017

Shop this choker here
Hey guys! In lieu of this warm weather we're experiencing, I wanted to share an accessories line that I'm currently really into.  It's definitely that time of year where I find myself stripping out of my scarves and baring my neck and shoulders with new jewelry pieces.  It's no joke that I really like accessorizing with basic staples, but when it comes to fun jewelry I don't necessarily wear every day, I like to shop small and local.  Online boutique, Shoppe Her Way carries some of the cutest pieces from necklaces, to rings to a cute clothing collection all for very affordable prices.  Because I love jewelry of all types so much, it's my ultimate favorite thing to find a budget friendly shop that allows me to "splurge" all the while only spending like 20 bucks max on a bunch of items.  These chokers I'm wearing for example are only $5 each...yeah you read that right.  Unique and affordable truly goes a long way in my book!  For those of you heading out to some kind of festival this season, or if you just want to add new jewelry pieces to your collection, definitely head over to Shoppe Her Way's website.  I can't even say enter at your own risk because everything is so affordable, there literally leaves no room for regret lol.  Also, if you do make a purchase, be sure to enter the code BCMELI at checkout to receive an additional 20% off storewide.  Phewwww what's your excuse to treat yourself?  Chat with you guys later!

How To Wear a Double Buckle Belt

16 October 2016

Shop The Look

Crop Top: Zara (Shop similar here + here) // Skirt: Target Who What Wear Collection (Shop similar here + here) // Belt: Windsor - sold out (Shop similar here + here) // Bootes: HM (Shop similar here + here)

Let me tell you guys about the time I bought this super cute (and inexpensive) belt for my first ever Coachella.  Well, long story short, I had planned on wearing this the day I watched Guns N' Roses with my vintage high waisted shorts and GNR shirt.  I ended up forgetting the belt and I was pretty devastated because it was that one accessory that I knew was going to complete my outfit.  Le sigh. Flash forward to a few months post Coachella, I finally got myself to toss this belt around my waist and give it a spin.  This is only my second time wearing it and I honestly love it so much for its versatility.  I've seen my girlfriends wear this type of belt with shorts or jeans and it always looks so darn cute.  I chose to wear it one time around a tunic jean dress I have to create a more body hugging figure and then again around this hunter green skirt as just a fun accessory.  I don't usually wear belts, but when I do I love to toss them around my waist!  It's something about the feminine touch of showing off ones waist that sparks the call I guess haha.  Anyway, I hope your weekend was great.  Have a great first day of the week tomorrow!

Spring is in full effect and by now you might be noticing a few pieces missing from your wardrobe.  My advice would be to recycle as much as you can from the Fall/Winter seasons, and focus more on my favorite-accessories.  A simple piece can add so much life to an outfit, you don't even have to over do your choices or pack on your whole jewelry drawer.  My favorite accessories are necklaces and this Spring/Summer, I definitely want to add more to my collection.  You don't necessarily need one in every color, instead try more universal tones or colors that better match your wardrobe.  I wear a lot of black and white/neutral colors so bright necklaces work very well with my womp womp outfit tones-ha!  Check out the compilation of necklaces I'm really vibing below, happy Spring accessories shopping!

 Coachella 2013-Festival Fashion

I've never been to the Coachella Music and Arts Festival, but after viewing this years line up, I feel like trying to score tickets. Acts that I'd love to watch include Red Hot Chili Peppers, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Dropkick Murphy's, Social Distortion, Vampire Weekend, Wu Tang Clan, and Johnny Marr.  With months away from the festival, I would like to thank the coordinators of this event for allowing us all the opportunity to carefully plan out our outfits! According to experienced festival attendees, the weather is extremely warm.  Therefore, it's necessary to plan smart, cool, outfits.  Never been to the festival? Check out the necessary items below to having a fashion fun weekend!
