Hello, February + BIRTH MONTH! To say this pregnancy flew by is an understatement. It only feels like it was slow when I pause to think about everything Martin and I have learned and been through together over the last nine months. For me personally, it's been a time of trial, error and fortunately success! With pregnancies being so different from woman to woman, it was hard for me to share 'must-have pregnancy products' every trimester! First of all, it takes some time to figure out if something works anyway, and after going through this pregnancy, I've definitely found major success in some items I feel confident saying have been my absolute go-to products. Listen up momma's in the making!

This blog has half served as my personal diary and half information I love to share and write about. In wanting to document life as it happens, and for the next few posts to make so much more sense, I need to share that I'm pregnant! 20 weeks, five months, having a baby boy pregnant. Hi hi! I saw a fun IG story template today that was all about June favs and it inspired me to write this post. Not gonna lie, while mentally answering some of the questions, I thought there was definitely a ton of room for improvement and discovery in my life. Not that I like to repeat things in life, it's just so easy to stick to what you know! I remember the days when I'd spend all day thinking about blog posts, be excited to take pictures to support its content, support my work on social, be known as a blogger before 'influencer' took precedence, get excited to meet and mingle with other bloggers, etc. There's a lot this blog has given me and every time I ghost it, I think constantly think about. 

How I'm Manifesting the Best Year Ever

Dudes. Was 2020 a weird year or what? It definitely flew by, yet feels like in the middle of my very long blink, I woke up and now it's 2021. I've tried writing this post all week, but every day has felt like the worst day to put thoughts together. I juggled from writing a sweet note to just diving in, and well, per the first week of 2021 it simply felt right to just dive in with my thoughts on how I'm going to work on doing good and being a better person to myself and others. True story. I've shopped the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale ONE time in my life. I see it everywhere every single year and for some reason it's the last thing I pay attention to haha. To be so honest, I think it's because the summer sale I most look forward to is the Zara sale and once that's over I feel all shopped out!  However, I did browse the home section and found some really great items that caught my eye and had to share. Hi friends! How are we doing? I know, Covid kind of sucked the life out of many things, didn't it? I've definitely gotten used to this new life, but I do feel somber here and there! Somber because I can't proceed with life the way I normally would or I forget I can't just happily head out to dinner and drinks with friends or hubby - WAH! This isn't fun anymore, but it's definitely given us all a reason to find ways of getting creative with our new normal and beyond that, finding ways of doing our part to help support local businesses.

As you guys know, I have a career that I’m so devoted to and the last time we chatted on here was the day things changed. Long story short, my team moved on in their careers and I was left straddling multiple roles. Busy is an understatement but boy did I learn A LOT in those short few months.

Hello 2019 and hello babes (and some guys that might read this!) It's the new year and with that comes A TON of opportunities to evolve.  Last year was a lot busier than I expected it to be, a year full of ups and downs, but nonetheless all lessons and blessings.  With so much to look forward to in 2019, I wanted to reflect and share what I'm most looking forward to and chat about a few goals I'd love to accomplish.  What'll be interesting is to come back on December 31st to read how well I did - who is going to sign up to keep me accountable!  Alright, let's get down with the get down. 

Our Family Trip to Big Bear

Hey hey! Last month, Martin and I took our boy, Nacho, on his first family trip to Big Bear, CA. This place is so special to Martin and I because it was the place where we got engaged just last November. For his birthday this year, he said he wanted to take a mini trip out there but had one request - we had to take the dog. Obviously that's not a problem to me at all because Martin and I love Nacho more than we love each other (lol), the only issue was actually having to browse dog-friendly places in Big Bear! A quick search was all we needed to pull this off but actually being there helped a lot, so, I figured I'd put together a list of where we stayed, where we walked and where we dined in Big Bear as a family of three. K let's do this!

Hi again!  So it's been like two months since I've actually written a post here and about three months since I've actually sat down to plan out content.  All summer long, I was out and about planning mine and Martin's wedding and making life moves that I just felt like I couldn't do it all - you know what I mean?  I still kept in touch via Instagram, but there's nothing like giving this blog my all, so I had to take a quick break to then come back to it.  Honestly, I'm excited to be writing again and planning out content for the rest of the year! I couldn't have come back during a more special time, which is the beginning of the holiday season.  To be completely transparent, I was really dreading September 1st because I knew this would only speed up the wedding process, but now I'm not fearful at all!  So, in this post, I wanted to play catch up and update you all on what I've been up to, where I've been and what I'm looking forward to the most next!  Alright, let's get to the nitty gritty.

Hey guys!  Boy, is it summer or is it summer?  We're experiencing a rad heat wave this week and I'm definitely feelin' it.  I tried to curl my hair this morning and it all just fell flat, so basically, I'll be rocking beach hair all summer!  Aside from just heat this new season brings, I look forward to longer nights, a change in wardrobe and the yearn to participate in fun activities.  For example, every summer I feel like I say I want to get out to the beach more and then kind of fail, so this summer will be the one for change!  Along with cool activities I want to take part in, I've come to cultivate a list of three must-haves that coincidentally directly tie into my favorite summer plans haha.  In honor of that, in this post I'm sharing my three must-have items that you might want/need as well!  Okay, let's count them down.
